Social Science Student to Digital Marketing Executive a Drastic Career Change

COVID-19 has changed the point of view of different individuals for organizing things towards the valued way. Everyone faced many issues during the lockdown period financially, emotionally, and Career-related also. I have found my way or you can say I exactly changed from Social Science student to Digital Marketing Executive a drastic career change. The find my way or I can say with this future change I have to choose my journey for a better future and career opportunity.

My name is Anusha Bajpai. I was a student from a Social Science background. I was planning to do a Ph.D. from abroad. Due to Covid 19, I faced some issues and could not make it. I was distressed that I was not having my way about my career during the lockdown. I was very confused about where to go and find my way for my career.

I was looking for short-term courses which may give a little bit of push to my career. Then, while looking for it on Google. I got to know about the Digital Marketing Course from IIM Skills. I looked on the site of IIM Skill and it’s all related courses; they provide different professional courses like Digital Marketing Course, Content Writing Course, CAT Courses, and GST Course. If I would frankly speak, I was in a mood to learn Content writing because somehow, I was convinced that I will learn content writing and can do it.

I had a conversation with the counselor of IIM Skills they suggested to me that if you want to do content writing then you can learn Digital Marketing Course it is a full package and with content writing, you will get to know about the more different things in Digital marketing it will help you for future career opportunities. I was not sure that, I would do that or not. I have taken a Demo class with IIM Skills to decide whether I can do it or not.

After doing the demo class, I was very clear.  I decided to do the digital marketing course. I have learned all the modules of the Digital marketing course in a layman language from the trainers of IIM Skills and it was not so tough for me to collect all the necessary information regarding the Digital marketing course.

After learning Digital Marketing Course, I got the Internship opportunity from IIM Skills. This made it easy for me to apply my learning for the Digital marketing course in real-time projects. It was not so easy for me but I got proper guidance from Vaibhav Kakkar CEO of IIM Skills. He always helps and guides his students to do good if there is any blockage. He always stands by his side to help because he does not want that student should not miss anything in doing the things on real-time projects.

I completed my 3 monthly Internship from IIM Skills and I was also paid for my Internship which also helps me a lot in managing my finances also. After completion of my Internship, I got a job opportunity for the Digital Marketing Executive by the side IIM Skills because I don’t want to miss this great career opportunity to be a part of IIM Skills and learn a lot from Vaibhav and the Team of IIM skills.

This was my journey from a social science student to a Digital marketing executive. It was not easy for me but with IIM Skills it was very easy because I got a learning environment from them which made this possible for me. Now, I am changed so much in knowledge and doing things very well. I don’t believe that now I am changed so much when I watch my journey. I appreciate myself because,

I was beforehand scared so much that, I would not be able to do a Digital Marketing Course, Content writing course. IIM skills made my career change journey easier. I thank IIM Skills for giving me outstanding learning experience, real-time learning experience through Internship, supporting me with all my queries, and for giving me the best job opportunity also.
