Ashwarya Ralhan says

“Do not fear doing things, no one is perfect in life.

Only you can make the Impossible into Possible”

Who is Ashwarya Ralhan? Yes, she is not a known person, but we are sure you would love knowing about her and hearing her story out.

Ashwarya Ralhan is a girl from Delhi who dreamt of being a doctor in her childhood because her family always saw her as one. As time passed by her dreams changed and she started exploring her creative side. She wished to be a Journalist but did not get enough support from family in this career field. Then her actual journey began when she started Content Writing for various brands. She is currently the Founder of GoHealthyOnline i.e a Health and Fitness blog and working on her personal branding page named AskDigitalAsh.

Let’s Know More About Ashwarya

Q.1 Tell Us About Yourself.

I am a content creator from Delhi, my major interest was always in Journalism and Media but eventually, I started my career with Content Writing and worked with some Media agencies for strategy and have worked with well-known brands, namely Livon, Pantene, Mama Earth, BactoVi, etc. With such an establishment, she is currently helping brands and companies increase their presence and a better marketing strategy.

Q.2 Where do you get inspiration from?

I find my inspiration in my aunt, my Bua. She has always inspired me to do something in life, to achieve something. Be it education, career, or the life she has always guided me, supported me, and motivated me. She gave me the confidence to choose the field of writing, even though my family was not in my support as they wished I would be a doctor. So, today whatever I am, it’s because of her.

Q.3 Do you find managing your studies and writing at the same time difficult?

Yes, I do find managing studies and writing at the same time difficult and giving it the same productivity but I have improved a lot from past years and I am still improving. I try to make a balance between both. There were times I felt like quitting and unmotivated but I recall why I even started doing it and then I am back in my full form.

Q.4 If you won’t be a content writer, what else would you do?

If I weren’t a content writer, I would surely be a Radio Jockey. I am a creative person and love communicating a lot. I also have a humorous side that I want to explore and show to the world. Humour and communication is my cup of tea and it’s creativity that attaches me to both fields.

Q.5 What has been one of the biggest challenges you have faced in the field of content writing?

When I started writing I had no guidance, no support system. I faced a lot of rejections because I did not have any background in writing and I didn’t have any knowledge of the industrial area. I had to figure out a lot of things on my own, I didn’t even know someone who could help me. There were paid courses but I wasn’t able to afford them initially. So, these were the challenges and still, there are many challenges I face.

Q.6 What is one of your best moments after entering into this field of content writing?

One of the best moments I can recall is the time when I worked with an event management company and they loved my work. They even provided me with my visiting card, though it was a small achievement still it is one of the best moments. When my work was recognized and appreciated it was like I was on the seven clouds.

Q.7 Any unknown facts about you?

Yeah, I was raised by a single parent, my father. I am a die-hard fan of the Friends web series and as I have a smiling face, it is mistaken as I am always happy, but this is not true.

Q.8 Since you are interested in journalism, what is your favorite media brand?

I like journalism as they dig deep into facts. Some of the media brands I like are ‘scoopwhoop, ‘buzzfeedIndia’, ‘Startupinsider’, ‘Businessmedia’, ‘CeoClub’, ‘yourstory’.

Q.9 What is your favorite writing style or any favorite website you prefer to read from?

I prefer writing content in the form of a story. Every content conveys a type of story. I feel storytelling has the power to convince everyone. We can portray our feelings and emotions through storytelling in the form of content. I connect my content to the story so that people can feel it.

Q.10 Apart from doing content writing, what are your other hobbies?

My hobbies are listening to music, watching web series, traveling and the interesting fact is they are something that provides me content for my writing. My initial writings were about personal life, kinds of people in the metro, types of teachers, types of friends. They all are connected in a way.

Q.11 Where or who do you want to see yourself in upcoming years, say in the next five years?

So, in the next five years, I want to see a better version of myself first of all. Then, by God’s grace, I also want to establish my brand for which I need a lot of exposure and experience. I hope, one day I can achieve what I want to and in the next five years, I will wish myself there.

Q.12 Will you enlighten us with your dream career which you wish to pursue next?

My dream career is to become an RJ, radio jockey. As I said, I love being creative and communicative, and cracking jokes and an RJ must be able to do that, hence, I can say I can pursue it. Further, I would add that being creative and being myself is my dream.
